'Math is Creative' Student Work

This blog is dedicated to the hard work these First and Second grade students put into their work in a three week summer math course. The focus of the class was to view elementary math concepts through an artistic and naturalistic lens. The themes woven throughout the course were the patterns in the world around us such as symmetry and the Fibonacci sequence and understanding the whole-part relationship.
